free swim & lunch
Keep active, and energised this HALF-TERM
We’re offering unlimited FREE swimming sessions with a lunch, to support children who are entitled to free school meals, young carers, and those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)*. Sessions are available to those aged 5-16. Parents can now swim for FREE with their children!
The free swim initiative will run throughout the School Holidays, providing eligible children with FREE access to the following sessions at our participating pools.

After your swim, present your booking ticket and redeem your free lunch (Food & drinks up to the value of £5).
Eligibility for free swims
Child must be in receipt of free school meals, a young carer, or have special educational needs (SEND).
Participating pools – Bury Leisure Centre, Haverhill Leisure Centre, Newmarket Leisure Centre, Mildenhall Hub, Hadleigh Pool & Leisure, and Kingfisher Leisure Centre (Sudbury).
How to book FREE SWIMMING
The amount of sessions you can book per child is unlimited – however, each session has to booked separately.
Only parents and guardians of children in receipt of free school meals, young carers, and children with special educational needs (SEND) can book via this link.
For any other siblings or friends that don’t qualify – you will need to book a paid-for session via the ‘PAID FOR SWIMMING’ link at the bottom of this page.
Just follow the relevant ‘BOOK’ button below – choose your date & time and follow the instructions to book.
By booking one family ticket, you are entitled to 4 spaces. Either 2 adult & 2 children or 1 adult & 3 children. These children must be aged 5-16 and qualify for Free School Meals.
Parent & Child tickets are also available with a ratio of 1 adult to 1 child. Child must be aged 5-16 and qualify for Free School Meals.
Junior tickets are available for those aged between 11-16 that are eligible for Free School Meals.

When booking a free swim session, you will need to complete a short questionnaire to prove your eligibility. Tickets are available as Junior ticket, a Parent & Child ticket, or as a family ticket. A Parent & Child ticket is 1Adult:1Child, a family ticket is classed as 2 adult:2children or 1 adult: 3 children (children aged 5-16), and a junior ticket is 11-16 years.
