Funding for these sessions has been provided by the Department for Education in partnership with Babergh District Council, West Suffolk Council and is part of the Suffolk Holiday Activity Programme.
Keep active, energised and fed this summer
We’re offering unlimited FREE swimming sessions plus lunch, to support children and young people aged between 11-16 who are entitled to free school meals.
The swim-and-lunch initiative will run throughout the summer holidays providing eligible children with FREE access to the following sessions at our participating pools.
- Casual swim sessions
- Wet N Wild’ (applicable to sites with flumes)
- ‘Floats N Fun’
- Each session will be up to an hour and includes a free lunch box
Eligibility for free swims and lunch
Must be in receipt of free school meals
Participating pools – Bury Leisure Centre, Haverhill Leisure Centre, Hadleigh Pool & Leisure, Kingfisher Leisure in Sudbury and Newmarket Leisure Centre.
How to book FREE SWIMMING
The amount of sessions you can book per child is unlimited – however, each session has to booked separately.
Only children in receipt of free school meals can book via this link.
For any other siblings or friends – you will need to book a paid-for session via the ‘PAID FOR SWIMMING’ link at the bottom of this page.
Just follow the relevant ‘BOOK FREE SWIMMING AT’ link below – choose your date & time and follow the instructions to book.
You can then show your booking confirmation ticket or show confirmation on your phone to be eligible for the FREE packed lunch.
