Our Adventure Days, Family Park Cooking and Holiday Hunger inititaives have grown significantly during the last 3 years to include more locations, so that we can offer these unique opportunties to more young people and families in Suffolk.
We offer great value paid-for and free places
Free places are part of the Suffolk Holiday Activity Programme – please see the eligibility criteria and how to book free places below.
FREE PLACE ELIGIBILITY AND HOW TO BOOK
Free Places
- To be eligible for Free Adventure Days or Family Park cooking sessions you MUST have been referred by your school or social worker and received an email letter from us.
- Places are only available for families whose children are in receipt of free school meals.
- Free places booked will be subject to confirmation from your school of eligibility.
- Lunch is included on a free place.
- You can only book ‘one free session’ per child.
- To book a free place on either session please email us HAF@acleisure.com
- Please note there are dedicated SEND supported session on selected days during the Christmas period-please ask when emailing.
ADVENTURE DAYS
Everyone sleeps well after our outdoor, adventure days
For children aged 8-12! Enjoy an action-packed day of safe, structured activities with fresh air in abundance. All under the careful eye of experienced outdoor instructors.
Includes; Forest Games, Fire-Lighting, Combat Archery, Archery, Catapult Building and Geocaching.
Cost
£24 per child per day
If your child receives free school meals you may be entitled to a free place.

FREE FAMILY PARK COOKING
Adults and children take part in an amazing unique experience, away from the normal pressures of life.
These sessions are only available for families in receipt of free school meals.
The days run from 10:00-14:00 and include:-
- Outdoor family activities
- Outdoor cooking class and lunch provided
- Recipe book and videos
- Food box for a family of 4

BOOK NEWMARKET
ADVENTURE DAYS KIT LIST
We aim to deliver fun, exciting activities outdoors in all kinds of environment and weathers.
Expect to get wet muddy and to have a great time!
Clothes to wear
- Warm jumper or fleece
- Pair of old trousers/Shorts
- T-shirt
- Sun hat and sunglasses (April to October)
- Woolly hat and gloves (October to April)
- Pair of old trainers or walking boots (Wellies if it is wet)
- Waterproof Jacket and trousers
Things to bring
- Water bottle/bottles (Minimum 2ltrs)
- Packed Lunch Snacks
Sun cream (Factor 30+)
Medication (Must be looked after and administered by the young person) - Rucksack to carry belongings in
- Hair tie if you have long hair
What not to bring
- No mobile phones or other electronics
- No Expensive clothes or Jewellery
- No Jeans (Denim is the worst clothing to get wet in)
- No open-toed shoes/No flip flops or sandals
- No caffeinated or Energy drinks
Please remember that children who are eligible for free school meals and therefore have a FREE place on the Adveture Days – DO NOT need to bring a packed lunch as we will provide one.
