You would be the first point of contact for all Customer enquiries and we are looking for a Customer focused individual to join our team of advisors who are committed to delivering excellent Customer experiences, the successful candidate will have outstanding communication skills and the ability to work under pressure in a calm and professional manner.

Role Includes;
• To collect and record fees and bookings of facilities and activities
• To drive sales of membership and secondary spend
• To be a point of authority for all member enquiries
• Answer customer queries face to face and by telephone
• Distribute incoming and send outgoing post
• Carry out general administrative duties such as filling, scanning etc.

Desirable attributes;
• Able to provide a friendly, helpful and professional service to our customers
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work under your own initiative

• Know how to use a computer and programmes.

Week One: Monday 8:30am – 4:30pm

Abbeycroft Leisure operate the Leisure facilities for Trumpington Community College. This is a brand new school boasting excellent leisure facilities such as a Fitness studio full size 3G All Weather pitch, Sports Hall, Exercise Class Studio and Multi Use Games Area.

Abbeycroft Leisure is looking for individuals with a genuine passion for the fitness and wellbeing industry with previous instructor experience.

The successful candidates will help to oversee the general operations of the Fitness Suite. The role will involve carrying out customer inductions, programme reviews and health & lifestyle assessments. Other key expectations of the role will be to contribute to daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance tasks whilst providing a high level of customer service and interaction.

A Qualification in Level 2 Fitness Instructing (NVQ) is essential for this role. More advanced qualifications such as Level 3 and GP referral would be advantageous in your application, as well as qualifications in one or more of the following Group exercise classes: Indoor Cycling, Circuit Training or Exercise to music.

Monday 05:45 – 08:15
Wednesday 05:45 – 08:15
Wednesday 17:15 – 22:15
Sunday 08:30 – 17:15

We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Health and Fitness Coach to join our busy Fitness Team at The Gym Mildenhall.

The successful candidate will help to oversee the general day to day operations of the Fitness Suite, and will be responsible for the opening and closing of the gym. The role will involve carrying out customer inductions, programme reviews and member interactions, as well as delivering classes and group fitness activities. Other key expectations of the role will be to contribute to daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance tasks, as well as facilitating customer bookings and membership sales.

Shift patterns will include working evenings, weekends and bank holidays. We are looking for candidates that are flexible and able to assist in covering a range of these hours.

We are looking for a confident and competent individual that is highly motivated and well organised. You must be able to perform well in a busy gym environment whilst maintaining an excellent standard of customer service.

It is essential that you hold a Level 2 Fitness Instructing Qualification but Level 3 Personal Training and further group exercise qualifications are desirable. Ideally you will have relevant industry experience.

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who strives to provide a positive and high level of customer service to our members and provide our STEPS Programme to inspire and encourage members to lead a healthier and more active lifestyle.

• A Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification is required.
• A Level 3 qualification is desirable but not essential.
• First aid qualified or able to be trained as a first aider.
• Previous experience in key holder duties is desirable.
• Provide excellent customer service and be focused on member retention.

A DBS enhanced disclosure will be required for this post.

Other key expectations of the role will be to contribute to daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance tasks both in the gym and sports facilities, whilst providing a high level of customer service and interaction. The role will also include opening and closing the building, sports and class set ups and any other reasonable tasks to support the day-to-day running of the Centre. The role is very varied and involves tasks across the Sports Centre from membership tours, reception duties, sports hall set ups, to gym programmes and HIIT classes, to name a few.
Shifts involve a range of early morning shifts, evening shifts, weekends and bank holidays, including some lone working. You would be responsible for opening and closing the building on certain shifts.
