Sporting Memories Volunteer – Every Thursday 12.45-15.15pm

In this role, you’ll volunteer at Abbeycroft’s Mildenhall Hub for our weekly dementia-friendly Sporting Memories sessions.
You’ll provide meaningful contributions to the community by engaging participants in reminiscing about past sporting moments. Your patience, friendliness, and caring demeanour are essential.
These sessions aim to improve mental, physical, and social well-being by fostering bonds and sharing memories. They offer a supportive environment for those affected by dementia, isolation, or seeking social interaction. Activities include Table Tennis, Curling, Quizzes, and Boccia, promoting gentle physical activity in a relaxed setting.
Join us in making a positive impact in the community.

Responsibilities include:
Registering participants throughout the session, providing refreshments free of charge such as tea and coffee, being a friendly face, listening and chatting with a vulnerable cohort, encouraging people to potentially try something new and promoting the group to the local community to engage the right demographic.

As a Customer Contact Centre Advisor, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers. Key Responsibilities:
Handle inbound calls, emails, and live chats from customers, addressing their queries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
Provide accurate information about our services, membership options, and facility bookings.
Assist customers with account management, including updating personal details and resolving any issues.
Process bookings, cancellations, and payments efficiently.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer experiences.
Maintain a positive and empathetic attitude, even during busy periods.
Strive to exceed customer expectations and contribute to our reputation for outstanding service.

Requirements:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong customer service orientation and a genuine desire to help others.
Ability to multitask and handle high call volumes.

Outdoor Senior Lead Instructor – Explore Outdoor

Explore Outdoor is Suffolk’s largest provider of mobile, outdoor activities and education programmes. Instructors deliver bespoke, safe, and exciting educational sessions as well as energy fuelled adventure days, family park cooking, Duke of Edinburgh awards and more.

Senior Lead £12.70 per hour* – Lead Instructor £10.71 per hour
As an Explore Outdoor instructor you will be responsible for leading groups of children, or families in delivering a range of safe, enjoyable, and memorable outdoor activity sessions.

*Senior Lead Instructors must hold a recognised outdoor education NGBs such as ML/LLA/RCI/CWI or be a Level 3 Forest School Leader.

• National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is required.
