Testimonials

I was referred to Abbeycroft Leisure in Brandon from Newmarket Hospital physiotherapists because of knee cartilage damage. On arriving for my first visit I was made most welcome and had a tour of the Wellness Hub and the main gym.

Initially I had 12 weeks of 2 sessions per week in the Wellness Hub and then progressed into the main gym doing leg exercises with weights. I have continued with both, and my knee problems are now very much improved.

My experience with Abbeycroft has been very good and I would highly recommend them.

I have met some lovely people and enjoyed chatting with a coffee after the sessions. I hope to continue using the facilities to benefit my overall fitness.

Valerie Anderson

I started attending the Abbeycroft Leisure Centre in Brandon in January 2022 after being referred by my GP.
I admit that I was reticent about joining initially but shouldn’t have been, as Toby my instructor, was knowledgeable, welcoming and completely put me at ease.

The gym is well equipped, modern and clean and my instructor is informative and ensured that I was getting the advice and guidance I needed. I cannot believe the improvement in my health – I am stronger and feel much fitter!

The facilities at the gym have meant that there is a brilliant social aspect too. The other members and I encourage each other and the tasty coffee bar is always welcome after a workout session.

I would not hesitate in recommending this leisure centre to others, it really has made a great impact on improving my health and wellbeing.
