“My job matters because we are the first people customers meet and it’s our job to make them feel welcome and to help them as much as possible. It helps that I love my job and that we have a great team of people who work together”

Will

“My job in the gym is to introduce new members to an environment; helping them to achieve their goals in a structured way, where before they might have lacked direction and knowledge. In doing this I am always learning new things, meeting new people and adding to my skillset”

Claire

“I feel that my job teaching and coordinating the group fitness classes is extremely rewarding. Exercising in groups can lower stress and also improve mental, and physical wellbeing. Seeing people change and become healthier, and happier is why my job matters “

Rosie

“I can make a small difference to someone’s day with small gestures; such as asking how their day is. A smile and a hello can make a big difference to their day. You don’t know what they could be going through and they may not see anyone else that day. That’s why my job matters”

Ashley
