Fitness is important in everyone's life and at Abbeycroft leisure we recognise that everyone's needs are different and so will support you through your individual, tailor-made exercise programme, with staff always on hand to give you all the encouragement, advice and motivation you may need.
The fitness team also run regular challenges and express classes to help you achieve you goals. These activities support the friendly, social atmosphere offered and make it an ideal place to train whether you come on your own or with a training partner.
Some people find it easier to get motivated to work out with other people around us - so why not come and try one of the many exercise classes on offer?
Our group exercise classes are led by qualified and friendly instructors and our comprehensive programme of classes will suit everyone, no matter what your level of fitness. Bookings for classes can be made up to 7 days in advance.
Power-Plate is like the microwave of fitness…..it gives the body a high-speed workout with vibrations that contract and relax the muscles.
Many athletes are using power plates to help with sports specific goals, but they are also used by gym goers for general fitness too.
Benefits Power plates have shown to improve muscle tone as well as muscle definition through fat loss. They also improve bone density and flexibility.
Come along to a power plate taster session, taster sessions run on Mondays 6pm and Wednesdays 12 noon.
We also now deliver Power Plate classes, a great way to get a short effective all over body work out!
Classes take place Tuesday evenings 5.15pm and Wednesday 12.15pm for 30minutes.
