About Us:
West Suffolk swimming club is fast emerging as the region’s premier swimming club under the direction of local and international coaches using pools at both Haverhill 
and Bury st Edmunds. Dan Pilbrow (Head Coach – 2 times GB Olympic trialists) and Alan Bircher (Performance & Distance Coach - World Championship Silver Medallist 2004 Open Water) supported by Debbie Roberts (Junior Coach) and Phil Ward (Technical Coach) are all instrumental in driving the club towards national recognition. The club has approaching 250 members ranging in age from 6 years (Nemo Squad) through countries and development to national squad, the club also has a masters squad for the older swimmers.
This year the club expects to have a major presence at the countries and regional competitions with potentially 8 to 10 swimmers qualifying for the nationals. The club has engaged in an over seas trip to Dubai this year for the top squad and will be confirming other trips for the developing squads.
