The “West Suffolk Tigers” is an multiskills Club for children of school age with disabilities. It is run by a qualified & experienced Athletics coach with help from ‘Step into Sport’ students from King Edward School & staff from the Special Schools. If you are interested in joining as a volunteer or as an athlete, please contact the Sports Development team.
The sessions for the “West Suffolk Tigers” are free of charge and funded through work with Optua and the Bury St.Edmunds School Sport Partnership. There is no need to book however a registration form will need to be completed before commencement.
The West Suffolk Tigers meet Wednesday at 4-5pm at Bury St.Edmunds Leisure Centre during term time
The Tigers with thanks to the Bury St Edmunds Disabililty Sport Forum has now secured funding of £7700.00 from the Awards for All Grant, this money will be spent on training up more volunteers, Tigers kit, and equipment for the club.

ABILITY COUNTS!
MULTI SPORTS COACHING IN PARTNERSHIP WITH IPSWICH TOWN COMMUNITY TRUST
EVERY FRIDAY 4.15-5.15pm
Sports coaching for children between 5 and 13 years old with disabilities or learning difficulties.
Qualified Sports Coaches and each participant can bring a sibling or friend free of charge.
Cost is only £2.50 per session.
'Each session will aim to improve agility, balance and co-ordination whilst covering the core skills of football, basketball, cricket, hockey and tennis'.
