Abbeycroft Leisure offers a range of National courses relating to the Leisure Industry.
RLSS National Rescue Award for teachers
The aim of this course is to identify potential hazards, the importance of customer service in all organisations.
Participants must be 16+ and be able to swim 20m on their back and front and reach the bottom of the pool.
RLSS NPLQ professional lifeguard course
Participants undertake two units to complete this qualification.
UNIT1–Principles of life saving and swimming pool supervision
UNIT 2 – Application of supervision and swimming pool rescue.
Participants must be 16+ and able to swim 4 lengths continuously, surface dive to the bottom of the pool and tread water for 30 seconds
First aid at work
Under the health and safety First Aid at work regulations every
organisation must provide an adequate and appropriate number
of staff who are suitably trained in first Aid work.
This course is a four day course will provide candidates with training on basic first aid skills and resusitation that will lead to a national qualification.
